Fans Name Eric Church & The Band Perry ACM ‘Top New’ Winners

The Academy of Country Music and GAC announced today that Eric Church has been named ACM Top New Solo Vocalist and The Band Perry has been named ACM Top New Vocal Duo or Group. Fan voting ended yesterday (2/24) at noon. Church and The Band Perry will now vie for the title of ACM Top New Artist Award which will be given out at the 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards in Vegas.
Luke Bryan, the reigning ACM Top New Artist, will present them with their awards on March 2 in Nashville at the ACM-sponsored CRS Music City Jam.
The 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards will air Sunday, April 3, 2011 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
