Fellow Country Stars Show Support For Joey Feek
On Monday, Rory Feek of the duo Joey + Rory revealed that his wife Joey would be entering hospice care following a weekend stay in the hospital. Joey, 40, has been bravely battling cervical cancer, and Rory has been sharing updates on his wife with fans through his blog, This Life I Live.

Sadly, the cancer is aggressively spreading throughout Joey’s body, but the couple has stayed strong through it all and relied on their faith to help them through these devastating times.
Yesterday, Blake Shelton, opened up about the couple while on the set of The Voice.
“The courage that they as a family have displayed – it’s inspirational,” Shelton told Entertainment Tonight of the Feeks.
Although Rory Feek wrote his 2004 hit “Some Beach,” Shelton admitted he “never really got to know [Rory] that well.”
“He was always just someone I kinda knew, but to see what they’re going through as a family and what’s happening with Joey, what can you say?”
Other country artists have been showing their support for Joey online. Today, Ty Herndon took to social media to encourage his followers to purchase the duo’s song “When I’m Gone,” in hopes that it will bring cheer to the couple during these dark times.
“Let’s get it as far up on the charts as possible,” Herndon wrote. “I wanna see a smile on Rory’s face… A small act of kindness can go such a long way.”
Jerrod Niemann also extended his support on Facebook.
