Five Country Artists We’d Love To See Cast On ‘Dancing with the Stars’

Luke Bryan, Kimberly Perry, Blake Shelton, Reba, Charles Kelley

The cast for Season 18 of ABC’s hit competition “Dancing with the Stars” was announced this morning and sadly, there’s another season without any country artists on the cast. In the past, artists such as Sara Evans, Billy Ray Cyrus, Wynonna Judd, and Chuck Wicks have represented the genre on the show. Not to mention, Kellie Pickler, who brought the infamous Mirror Ball Trophy home to Music City after season 16.

After the announcement, we got to thinking who we’d like to see cast on the show. Here are five artists who we’d love to see cast on “Dancing with the Stars.”

Kimberly Perry: We’re pretty sure the leading lady of The Band Perry’s spunky personality and on-stage dance moves would translate smoothly to the dance floor. She has great poise and killer upper body strength, so we think she’d be a shoe-in!

Charles Kelley: Something tells us Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley has a hidden talent…this could be it! His height might make it a bit tough to move around the dancefloor, but we totally think he could pull it off (and look damn good doing it!).

Blake Shelton: We could think of a million reasons why Blake Shelton would be a great contestant on DWTS, but if we had to think of one, we’d say he would be a front-runner simply because he would be hilarious to watch. Could you image the laughs?

Reba: Is there anything Reba can’t do? She’d own this like she does everything else and who could be better to represent country music than the QUEEN of country?

Luke Bryan: Have you seen him shake it? No further explanation is needed.
