After months in the studio, Florida Georgia Line is finally ready reveal plans for what they’ve been working on. In a post to Instagram, the duo shared that their fifth studio album would arrive February 12.

“It’s time y’all! Humbled and excited to announce our fifth studio album, #LifeRollsOn, is out February 12th! This year has been a wild ride and if there’s one thing we’ve learned, you have to keep your head up high. This new music truly represents where we are in our lives right now and we can’t wait for y’all to hear it. Hit the link in bio to pre-order now and get a bunch of tracks instantly,” the two wrote in a group statement.

Life Rolls On will feature 16 tracks, seven of which are available for instant download upon pre-order. It will include their smash hit “Long Live,” as well as other tracks “I Love My Country” and the winning song from their appearance on NBC’s Songland, “Second Guessing.”

News of FGL5 comes just weeks after the duo spoke out against rumors of a breakup. The duo’s Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard have seemingly different political views and following the election, it appeared as if Hubbard had unfollowed his duo partner on social media. He explains, however, that it was just a temporary move and they had spoken about it beforehand.

“I unfollowed BK for a few days while we were through this political, you know, in the middle of this election and everything going on. And, and I even called him and told him, I said, ‘Hey buddy, I love you. And I love you a lot more in real life than on your stories right now. So I’m just going to, so that’s why I’m unfollowing you. Nothing personal. I still love you. You’re still my brother,’” Hubbard shared during a chat on the podcast Exit 209 with Storme Warren. “I just didn’t want to see it every time I opened Instagram. And so it wasn’t a big deal. Like, like we, like we said, we’re, we’re on great terms. We’re feeling stronger than ever. We’re loving and supporting each other through even all the chapters that we’re in now and, uh, excited for the future.”

Despite rumors, the magic of their partnership is still very much alive as they later scored huge, record-breaking news. It was revealed that Florida Georgia Line had become the first artists in country history to notch two Diamond-certified singles — an honor which recognizes sales of 10 million copies for a single song. The songs celebrated were “Cruise” and “Meant To Be.” They also used 2020 to release their first-ever Christmas song, “Lit This Year,” which was performed during the CMA Country Christmas special.
