Superstar duo Florida Georgia Line will soon make their concert debut on country’s most historic stage for SiriusXM Presents Florida Georgia Line at The Ryman.
Set for May 29th, the duo will headline a unique show at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, which first found fame as the longtime home of the Grand Ole Opry and is now known around the world as “The Mother Church of Country Music.” They’ve performed at the landmark before, but never a full show, and this one will be especially noteworthy. The entire concert will be broadcast live on SiriusXM’s The Highway.
“There is a magical feeling when you walk into the Ryman and this is a place that has always been on our bucket list to play,” Kelley says about the upcoming event. “We are so excited for this show and can’t wait to bring our FGL vibes to the Mother Church!”
“The first time BK and I heard ourselves on the radio was on SiriusXM,” Hubbard adds. “So, to come together now for our first full-blown concert at the Ryman is really special.”
SiriusXM first began playing Florida Georgia Line’s breakout hit “Cruise” in early 2012 – before they had a record deal – helping the duo get their career started. Since then “Cruise” has gone on to become the only Diamond-certified single in country history, for selling more than 10 million copies.
With the Ryman only seating about 2,000 concertgoers, the invitation-only concert will be open to SiriusXM subscribers only, and even then under some pretty specific conditions. Hopeful attendees can win tickets through an e-mail invitation sent to qualified subscribers who have consented to electronic marketing and registered their music interests at siriusxm.com/perks. Or, if you’ve signed up for the satellite radio service since April 10, 2019, you can enter for the chance to win a trip for two to Nashville – including airfare, hotel stay and a pair of tickets to SiriusXM Presents Florida Georgia Line at The Ryman, with details at siriusxm.com/FloridaGeorgiaLine.
As for the rest of us, we’ll just have to enjoy the show at home – or in the car, or on a mobile device – beginning at 8 p.m. CT on SiriusXM’s The Highway, channel 56, and on the SiriusXM app.
