Frankie Ballard Releases Debut Music Video
Already breaking through the country music charts with his rockin’ debut single, “Tell Me You Get Lonely,” Reprise Records’ hot newcomer Frankie Ballard is bringing his undeniable guitar prowess and edgy charm to his first-ever music video. Directed by Marcel Chagnon and shot in downtown Nashville, the video captures a gritty, dirty, and lonely look into Ballard’s current Top 40 hit single. The video will make its television premiere on Great American Country (GAC) beginning Tuesday, November 9. The video can also be seen on Country Music Television’s Pure Country and all online outlets starting this week.
“Tell Me You Get Lonely,” written by Dallas Davidson and Marty Dodson, is a raw, emotional song that tells the story of a young man dealing with a break-up. Trying to keep his pride, he wants her to be the one to admit that she wants him back. He comes around in the end, admitting that he has his bags packed and is ready to come home. This song is now available on iTunes.
But this guitar slinger and country heartthrob is anything but lonely these days as he recently joined Uncle Kracker on his first-ever country music club tour entitled” “It’s Good To Be Me Tour 2010.” Ballard will be playing dates all across the country through the end of the year.
Hailing from Battle Creek, Michigan, Frankie Ballard is a little bit Country and a little bit Rock & Roll with his unique blend of edgy, country rock and sheer, fleet-fingering guitar skills. In 2008, Ballard won Kenny Chesney’s “Next Big Star” regional competition and opened for Chesney at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids and Ford Field in Detroit. Ballard is currently working on his forthcoming debut album for Reprise Records with producer Michael Knox (Jason Aldean).
