A glowing Gabby Barrett was joined by her husband Cade Foehner for an acoustic rendition of her signature hit “I Hope” at The Ryman Auditorium for the 2020 ACM Awards.

The pregnant American Idol alum belted her No. 1 song as she donned a stunning silver top and pleather leggings, with a set design of the Ryman’s signature glass windows in the backdrop.

“I Hope” was Barrett’s first country radio No. 1 earlier in April , which marked a historical achievement as the first debut single by a female artist to top the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart since 2006. Her follow-up and current single is “The Good Ones,” a song inspired by Foehner.

Barret’s debut album Goldmine dropped in June, and features both singles and a special Charlie Puth-assisteed remix of “I Hope.” The 20-year-old also covered Dolly Parton’s “I Will Always Love You” for a new Amazon Original song.

The 55th Academy of Country Music Awards, hosted by Keith Urban, are live from Nashville tonight (9/16) on CBS at 8/7c. Click here to see the winners and follow along with all of our 2020 ACM Awards coverage.
