Just a days after scoring big at both the Billboard Music Awards and iHeartRadio Music Awards, country breakout Gabby Barrett is already looking forward to another milestone. She’ll hit the road with Thomas Rhett for the Center Point Road Tour this fall — and she won’t be alone. Newborn daughter Baylah will be her travel buddy.

Speaking with Entertainment Tonight for a wide-ranging profile, the rising star says she and husband/guitar player Cade Foehner are looking forward to the tour. Especially since the whole family will be along for the ride.

“What it’ll kind of look like, we’ll have a tour bus. We’ll have our own home on wheels, which will be nice and exciting,” Barrett says. “She will definitely be with us. I’m really excited for her to kind of be able to watch us on the side of the stage, and as she grows, become more aware of what we do and songs and things like that. And then eventually we can write songs about her and it will just be so sweet.”

Baylah May Foehner was born on January 18, 2021, and that life-changing moment followed the chart-topping success of Barrett’s first big hit, “I Hope.” The track became one of the most-played songs of 2020, earning nominations from multiple awards shows, and now Barrett can’t wait to perform it onstage. And so far, it looks like baby Baylah takes after mom and dad.

“I’m definitely looking forward to getting to now experience live shows and performances, and all of those things, with her with us,” Barrett says. “She’s a very lullaby baby right now. So she loves music and falls asleep to little music.”

Meanwhile, Gabby Barrett has now followed up her breakout hit with another country-radio riser. “The Good Ones” is dedicated to the type of guy every girl hopes to one day meet, and the Center Point Road Tour kicks off August 13 – 14 with a two-night stand in Orange Beach, Alabama.
