Is there anything Garth Brooks can’t do? On top of being a world class entertainer and one of the top selling artists of all time, the Oklahoma native is now adding author to his wildly impress catalogue with the announcement of a five-part series, Garth Brooks: The Anthology.

The Anthology will take fans and readers inside Brooks’ career from past to present. Part 1 of the sequence, The First Five Years, will take a look into the first five years of his career with stories from those involved in his career and from Brooks himself.

“You get to experience the beginning of Garth’s career … right there in Garth’s inner circle. You are there as ‘The Thunder Rolls’ is recorded and about to be released by another artist. When ‘Friends in Low Places’ and ‘The Dance’ are almost never recorded at all,” reads a press release.

In addition to the written stories featured in The First Five Years, the 240-page collection will include five CDs with 52 songs, including 19 new, unreleased or demo versions, and more than 150 exclusive photos.

While Garth Brooks: The Anthology may be the superstar’s latest project, Brooks shows no signs of slowing down as he continues to roll on through his World Tour. Started in 2014, the tour will conclude its North American run at the end of 2017, before heading overseas in 2018. The singer has also announced plans for shows at the 2018 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and the 2018 Stagecoach Music Festival.
