Garth Brooks is headed back to Las Vegas for an intimate, one-man concert experience in early 2022, announcing two shows at Dolby Live at Park MGM.

Dubbed Garth Brooks: The ONE Man Show, the concerts will take place on February 4 – 5, marking the country icon’s first Vegas “residency” since his comeback engagement ended in 2014.

“I look forward to celebrating my birthday early that weekend in Vegas,” Brooks says in a press statement, noting that he’ll turn 60 years old on February 7. “Getting to sing and hear everyone singing is my favorite thing.”

Brooks’ birthday is February 7, and he’ll be turning 60 years old this year. Garth Brooks: The ONE Man Show may sound like a change of pace for the record-breaking stadium filler, but it’s actually a familiar approach. Brooks brought a similar, stripped-down acoustic show to Las Vegas back in 2009, when he came out of retirement for the Garth at Wynn residency series. That residency found him dressed down in street clothes and often telling stories from his career in between songs, and with his current Stadium Tour on hold due to COVID-19, Brooks recently did something similar with Just Garth, the Ryman & You — which was expanded to the larger Grand Ole Opryhouse for an additional date in November. The superstar has also announced his long-awaited return to Ireland next year, booking five shows in Dublin in September of 2022.

Tickets for Garth Brooks: The ONE Man Show will be on sale, Wednesday (December 22) at 10:00 AM PT, with limited seating available and a limit of six tickets per customer.

In other Vegas news, Shania Twain has announced the final dates of her “Let’s Go!” The Las Vegas Residency, and Carrie Underwood recently wrapped the first round of dates on REFLECTION: The Las Vegas Residency.
