Garth Brooks made a rare appearance on “CBS2 This Morning” to chat about his upcoming television special “Garth Brooks, Live from Las Vegas,” which is set to air this Friday, November 29 (9:00 – 11:00 PM LIVE ET/ delayed PT) on CBS.

During the interview, Brooks spoke with “CBS2 This Morning” hosts about the upcoming special, what’s on his iPod, his musical family and more.

When asked what’s next for him and wife Trisha Yearwood, Brooks reminded the hosts that they’re not making any plans until his youngest daughter graduates high school next year. “I would like to do music again, between me and you, but we’ll see what our future is,” he teased.

As for how the superstars balance their careers and home life, Brooks says it’s easy. “Me and Miss Yearwood don’t think of ourselves as superstars at all. We’re two people who got extremely lucky. You know you’re lucky to get to do this and however long it lasts, it lasts.”
