You might think country icon Garth Brooks has done it all. But the record setting hit maker is still hunting out “firsts,” and this summer he’ll notch another one in his own backyard.

On July 31, Brooks will bring his massive Stadium Tour to Music City, playing Nashville’s Nissan Stadium for the first time in his career.

“Coming home!!! So Excited!!!!,” Brooks shared on social media, posting a graphic image of the venue to announce his news.

Taking over the home of the Tennessee Titans on Saturday, July 31 at 7 p.m., Brooks and his band will rock Nashville’s biggest venue with an in-the-round seating set up. His stage will be situated right in the middle of the stadium, with fans encircling a giant platform — all the way up into the nose-bleed seats. But Brooks is famous for making sure there’s not a bad seat in the house.

His Stadium Tour launched back in March of 2019, and the superstar has predictably been breaking attendance records wherever he goes. He’s set new high-water marks in over 75 cities so far (according to stats on his website), and Brooks has seven other stadium-sized shows on the books through September.

Tickets for Brooks’ Nissan Stadium show go on sale Friday, June 25 at 10 a.m. CDT through Ticketmaster, and cost a flat rate of $94.95 (all inclusive, limit eight tickets per purchase).

Garth Brooks has been keeping busy until his tour gets back underway, releasing new music and even getting honored at the Kennedy Center Honors earlier this month. Two new albums have arrived in the last year — his 12th studio album, FUN, and the live album Triple Live Deluxe. And along with his Stadium Tour, he’ll make stops in small clubs in “country music capitals” around the nation, continuing his Dive Bar Tour through 2022.
