Gary Allan is coming back strong with the announcement of a brand new single called “Mess Me Up.”
After months of getting fans’ opinions on what song they wanted Allan to bring out for his next hurrah, the country star settled on releasing his track, “Mess Me Up,” to country radio in the coming weeks. Although he only shared a brief clip of the song via social media, many supporters of Allan have been hearing the tune live for quite some time and are getting what they asked for by releasing a studio version of it very soon.
“You asked for it and we listened…#MessMeUp,” Allan wrote on his Facebook page for the big announcement.
In support of “Mess Me Up,” a few of his devoted fans on Facebook noted that a new single might lean toward even more new music in the shape of an album sometime. Allan’s team even got so bold to comment back to a lucky fan about the status of a forthcoming record, writing they will be giving out details for the project as soon as they can.
Allan previously found success, banking four No. 1 singles in his career with songs like “Nothing On but the Radio,” “Man to Man,” “Tough Little Boys,” and “Every Storm (Runs Out of Rain).”
“Mess Me Up” will be available for purchase on May 19, hitting country radio shortly after.
