Over 1,000 of Gary Allan’s biggest fans showed up to his Fan Party at Rocketown in Nashville earlier this week and the turnout resulted in huge success. The event raised over $25,000 to benefit St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

The event, hosted by GAC’s Suzanne Alexander, included a performance by Allen in which fans could request their favorite hits of the country singer and an auction featuring some jewelry from Allan’s line.

During the performance, Allan took a little time to honor the late Sharon Eaves, the president of Allan’s fan club and an industry veteran. Allan mentioned how much Eaves meant to him and the music community as a whole, especially her dedication to St. Jude and everything she had done to support the cause throughout her life.

Allan performed a plethora of his hits, including tracks like “Watching Airplanes” and “Every Storm (Runs Out of Rain),” as well as the first-ever live performance of his new single, “Do You Wish It Was Me?,” which is available on digital retailers now.

Just as the rest of CMA Fest, Allan wanted to make the fan club party all for a good cause and that he did in honor of his late great friend and fan.
