Jana Kramer and Michael Caussin are seeing blue! The couple have revealed that they are expecting a baby boy later this year.

Over the weekend, the couple, surrounded by family and friends, hosted a gender reveal party. The two were over the moon excited when a box full of confetti revealed they’d be adding a boy to their brood in November.

“I was convinced it was a girl. Like, absolutely convinced with how sick I’ve been and the cravings I’ve had,” shared the singer with Us Weekly. “I was like, ‘OK, I’m definitely having another girl.’ And I kind of secretly wanted a girl because I never had a sister, so I always wanted to know what that was like.”

While shock was the first emotion felt by the parents-to-be, Kramer revealed that Caussin shed some tears over the prospect of raising a little mini-me.

“He wants to raise his little boy [with] respect and kind of do the things that he wishes he would have done,” said Kramer. “He’s gonna be such a good dad to a boy. It’s gonna be challenging because in this day and age for boys, you don’t want to be too hard on them, but you still want them to know it’s OK to show emotion and to kind of have that mix.”

The road to baby No.2 hasn’t been an easy one for Kramer and Caussin. Before learning they were pregnant, the couple went through several miscarriages along the way. The “I Got The Boy” singer revealed her story in episode to of her video series, sharing personal footage of the ups and downs of pregnancy.

“I want to be as open and honest and raw as possible and that’s why I’m doing this. I wanted to show you guys my journey of becoming pregnant,” she prefaced in the clip.

It wasn’t until another failed in vitro fertilization process that the couple got pregnant naturally with their son.

“Just like Jolie, the next pregnancy, I got pregnant again [naturally]. I don’t know if my system needed some of the IVF medicines to hold my pregnancy, I’m not really sure. But we are pregnant now. I am almost 19 weeks,” she said at the time.

While the losses have been devastating, Kramer admits that it makes this pregnancy and their two-year-old daughter Jolie all the more precious.
