George Strait Nears Billboard Record With 84th Top Ten Hit

George Strait’s “Here For A Good Time” has reached the top 10 this week on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart and it inches King George closer to the all-time record of artists with the most singles to reach that chart. “Here For A Good Time” is George’s 84th single to reach the chart, second only to Eddy Arnold’s record of 92.

Of the 84 singles that George has sent to the top 10 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart, a record 44 have reached No. 1.
