Grand Ole Opry Adds Wednesday Night Shows To Summer Schedule

Country music fans in Nashville are about to get another night of Opry to enjoy this summer. The Grand Ole Opry is adding eight weeks of Wednesday night shows to its schedule June 19 – August 7, joining the Opry’s Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday performances on the Opry’s show calendar.

Alison Krauss, the most awarded female artist in the history of the Grammy Awards, is set to mark her 20th anniversary as an Opry member on Wednesday, July 3, and CMA award-winning group The Band Perry will visit the Opry the following Wednesday, July 10, playing an extended 30-minute segment.

Among others already scheduled for Wednesday nights this summer are “American Idol” finalist Janelle Arthur (Opry debut), Larry Gatlin, Kristen Kelly, Dustin Lynch, and Restless Heart (June 19); and Aaron Tippin (June 26).
