Grand Ole Opry Kicks Off CRS With Lady Antebellum, Zac Brown Band and More
The Opry has brought country music to the forefront of CRS since 2012 and has continued to transform the hotel’s Broadway Ballroom into the iconic theatre.
The 2017 Country Radio Seminar (CRS) kicked off in Nashville on Wednesday afternoon (Feb.22) with thousands of radio programmers and on air personalities swarming in on Music City for three-days of non-stop country music and one-of-a-kind events. Among the incredible events was the special performance of The Grand Ole Opry in the Omni Nashville hotel.
The star-studded lineup included performances from Opry members Trace Adkins and Crystal Gayle, upcoming Opry inductees Dailey & Vincent, as well as Zac Brown Band, Lady Antebellum, Chris Janson, LOCASH, Cam, Michael Ray, Chris Lane, and Carly Pearce.
The Opry has brought country music to the forefront of CRS since 2012 and has continued to transform the hotel’s Broadway Ballroom into the iconic theatre, complete with the Opry’s signature barn backdrop and famous microphone stands each and every year.
CRS will continue throughout the rest of the week in Nashville with many other events featuring a number of country music stars, including one of the week’s most anticipated events, CRS 2017 New Faces of Country Music show. This year’s new faces show will include Maren Morris, Jon Pardi, William Michael Morgan, Granger Smith and Drake White.
