Granger Smith will certainly be tuned into ABC’s The Bachelorette this season as his brother is reportedly in the final round of casting. It was revealed on Wednesday morning (7/15) that Tyler is among 42 eligible bachelors hoping to win Clare Crawley’s heart.

“We are giving you an early look at the men who may be on this season of #TheBachelorette! Leave a 🌹 for who would get your first impression rose,” the show wrote on its official Facebook page. The post gave a first look at the possible cast, which will be whittled down before the season begins filming.

Among the photos is one of Tyler S., hailing from Dallas, TX. Fans immediately recognized him as Granger’s brother (he’s also Granger’s manager) and left comments of their support for the hopeful.

His reported casting was confirmed by blogger Reality Steve, who posted links to all of the men’s Instagram accounts on Wednesday morning. He also noted that Granger has previously performed on the show in a previous season during a one-on-one date.

Granger has been outspoken in finding his brother a bride for several years, even launching a worldwide search for the perfect women. In 2018, he launched a call to action with his wife Amber, pleading for fans to find them a sister-in-law.

“My brother’s going to kill us…but here’s the deal. He’s single. @Amberemilysmith & I need a sister. We need to hook up @tylersmith11! Any good girls with a connection to Texas? Can you help me,” he wrote in the photo’s caption.

No word yet on when the final suitors will be revealed, but according to Entertainment Weekly, filming for the new season has allegedly begun, despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The outlet reports that the show may be taping at a hotel in Palm Springs with regular COVID-19 testing happening, though ABC has not confirmed or denied these claims. Stay tuned for more details!
