Greg Bates and Wife Shelley Skidmore Reveal Baby’s Gender

It’s a boy! Last month, Greg Bates and Shelley Skidmore celebrated their second anniversary by announcing their first pregnancy. On Monday (6/5), they revealed that they will be adding a baby boy to their family.
“It’s official!! We’re having a BOY! @shelleyskidmore and I couldn’t be more excited and blessed to share him with the world,” Bates wrote on Instagram with footage of their gender reveal celebration.
The video shows the couple in anticipation as they prepare to pop a balloon filled with confetti. After seeing blue confetti fly through the air, the parents-to-be jump up and down in celebration while surrounded with family and friends.
Skidmore also shared photos of the special reveal, writing, “OH BOY! 💙💙💙 Yesterday was so fun and special (and HOT!). Greg and I are blessed with the most amazing family and friends and we are so excited to have a baby BOY!”
They will welcome their son to the family in October.
Bates and Skidmore announced that they were expecting in May 2017 with a photo of their dog Chesney sporting a sign that read “Big sister.” ““Today is our 2nd Anniversary so it’s the perfect day to make the biggest announcement of our lives. WE ARE HAVING A BABY! Blessed doesn’t begin to cover it,” Bates wrote with the photo.
Greg Bates is known for his 2012 song, “Did It For The Girl,” and currently works as a producer.
