From small-town sweetheart to American Idol winner, Carrie Underwood has always inspired young women to dream big on her rise to superstardom. As a wife and mom to two boys; the Founder and Lead Designer of a popular athletic wear line, CALIA by Carrie Underwood; and a GRAMMY® Award-winning singer and songwriter, Underwood is proof that women can do anything they set their minds to.

On The Cry Pretty Tour 360, she’s encouraging the next generation of women to chase their passions, by showing them what a smart, kind, strong female role model looks like—both on and off stage.

In this Sounds Like Nashville exclusive clip, some of Carrie’s smallest fans attending The Cry Pretty Tour 360 share what they want to be when they grow up, whether it’s a doctor, teacher, fashion designer or even a powerhouse entertainer. Watch the video below, which also includes a look into Underwood’s innovative in-the-round production.

At a time when Country radio is predominantly devoid of female voices, Underwood has chosen to lead an all-female tour, with rising duo Maddie & Tae and new trio Runaway June serving as direct support. In addition, the opening acts rejoin the “Southbound” singer midway through her headlining set for a medley of hits saluting some of Country music’s most influential female artists.

The Cry Pretty Tour 360 features a unique 360-degree stage that allows fans on all sides of the arena to take in the innovative spectacle put on by Underwood. The show uses more than 35 projectors, nearly 20 screens, 15 stage elevators and 400 moving lights. Just as impressive as the set-up is the Oklahoma native’s wildly-talented eight-piece band, who play 22 different types on instruments between them.

By the end of 2019, the tour will have visited nearly 60 cities throughout the United States and Canada. In addition, Underwood took her arena-ready show to the UK earlier this summer. The fall leg of The Cry Pretty Tour 360 kicks off on the West Coast Sept. 10 and continues through October, with a final stop in Detroit, Mich., on Halloween.
