Gwen Stefani Address Blake Shelton Marriage Rumors
Will the couple soon say "I do?"
Singers Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are such an unlikely pairing that they just make sense together. The country boy from Oklahoma and the city girl from California break all the rules when it comes to stereotypes after finding love with one another after shared experiences more than two years ago.
As the couple’s love continues to grow, many are wondering if the two will ever walk down the aisle again. The Ellen Show host Ellen DeGeneres decided to try and get an answer out of the No Doubt frontwoman during a recent episode of her daytime talks show.
“I love being married,” the host said after asking Stefani if they had plans to say “I do.” “I think you should get married.”
Admitting that she, as well as her three sons Kingston, 11, Zuma Nesta Rock, 9, and Apollo Bowie Flynn, 4, “love” the country crooner, Stefani shared that they have no plans (yet) to exchange vows.
“I think about it all the time,” she shared.
Shelton also recently professed his love for Stefani in a post to Instagram. Highlighting her quick ability to find arrowheads near his farm in Oklahoma, he ended his post with a side note.
“Hey @gwenstefani it’s official… with your arrowhead finding eye you are now an adopted Okie!!! Side note: I love you pretty girl… #truth,” he wrote.
While Stefani isn’t planning a wedding, she is gearing up to launch her Las Vegas residency, Gwen Stefani — Just a Girl, at the Zappos Theater in Planet Hollywood for 25 shows starting on June 27. For each ticket purchase, $1 will be donated to Cure 4 the Kids Foundation, a Las Vegas-based organization that provides medical treatment to children with life-threatening conditions.
