High Valley’s Curtis Rempel and Wife Expecting Baby No.3

“And then there were five,” wrote Curtis Rempel on Twitter to announced that he and his wife are expecting. Curtis, one-half of the brother duo High Valley, shared the news with a sweet gender reveal video on Friday (9/6).

In the clip, Curtis, along with his wife Myranda and children Ben and Millie, excitedly pop a black balloon containing confetti. It’s Ben who does the honors, releasing pink confetti into the air and revealing that baby number three is a girl.

“Is that exciting,” asks Miranda, as Ben nods. “I’m happy for me,” he adds later, “because I don’t want to share a room.”

Two-year-old Millie looks on, examining the balloon, exclaiming “oh!” when her mom says “you’re going to have a baby sister!”

The birth of another little one adds to the already large Rempel brood, as Curtis’ brother Brad and his wife Rebekah have two sons of their own. According to an article on Taste of Country, Curtis helped name his brother’s kids, and admits that Taylor Swift’s “Teardrops on my Guitar” was the inspiration for one of the boys.

“T Swift came on and I was like, ‘Hey that’s a cool name, how about Drew?’” Curtis recalled. Added Brad, “So technically Taylor Swift named my son, which is cool.”

As he prepares to be the father of another little girl, Curtis will likely stay busy out on the road touring with High Valley. Their latest single, “Single Man,” is currently out on radio.
