High Valley’s Brad Rempel got quite shaken up (literally) during his recent vacation in Mexico.

The singer took to Instagram to let fans know he was safe after a massive 7.6 magnitude earthquake struck the Caribbean Sea off the coast of Honduras. Brad was at his vacation rental in Cancun when the tremor, which is reportedly one of the largest to hit the Caribbean in modern times, shook the building.

“Amazing trip to #Cancun ended last night with our condo shaking like crazy as a result of an earthquake off the coast of Honduras. Thankful to be safe and sound back on American soil,” he wrote.

After the earthquake, the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center issued an advisory, warning areas like Jamaica, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands of a potential tsunami. Thankfully, no tsunami ever took place.

Brad and his brother Curtis are back at country radio with “She’s With Me,” the follow-up to their wildly successful “Make You Mine.” The duo’s next scheduled tour date is set for February 15 in North Kansas City, MO.
