Hillary Scott and Husband Take Eldest Daughter on Mini-Vacation

Eisele Tyrrell has been nailing it as an older sister ever since her mom and dad welcomed twin girls nearly a year ago. Because of her big heart and willingness to share the attention, Hillary Scott and her husband Chris Tyrrell decided to treat the little girl to a special Eisele-only vacation.

“It’s been about 6 months since we’ve had some quality time with our eldest Eisele and left baby sisters overnight at home. Eisele has had to learn patience like I could never imagine at 5 years old. She has been nothing but sweet and kind to B & E. She has given us grace in our search for our rhythm with infant twins, and y’all she’s not ONCE complained. I can’t say that,” wrote the Lady Antebellum frontwoman in a post to Instagram. “So, Chris and I loaded her up and drove to colder weather. We sat in a jacuzzi, watched movies, ate popcorn, snow-tubed, ice skated, took a funny old-time photo, and hit the aquarium on the way out of town. Gatlinburg was good to us, but NOTHING, NOWHERE OR NO ONE could ever be as good(and special) as this little girl who made me a Mom. To quote her, this time together was ‘so loving.'”

She continued, “I’m no stellar/award-winning parent and will never claim to be, but make time for your eldest even when the baby or babies are little. It’ll melt your heart in a whole new way, remind you how easy it is to travel with one(haha!), and show them(most importantly & hopefully!) how much things can change, but them being a priority doesn’t have to.”

The reflective caption was complete with a photo of three pairs of boots, likely the ones the group wore during their short getaway. But the vacation wouldn’t have been possible without the help of the couple’s family and friends.

“Thank you to our two amazing caregivers and my parents/sister for keeping the twins in shifts around the clock to make this possible. We don’t take you for granted,” she closed the post.

Scott and Tyrrell welcomed their twin daughters, Betsy and Emory, on January 29, 2018. Their arrival was a sweet moment for the pair as they’d previously gone through a miscarriage. Losing a baby was a tough obstacle, but inspired the powerful song “Thy Will,” featured on Scott’s GRAMMY-winning album, Love Remains.

Soon, Scott will rejoin bandmates Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood as Lady A begins their highly-anticipated Our Kind of Vegas residency in Sin City. The residency will begin February 8, 2019, with dates running throughout February, May and August.
