Holly Williams Expecting First Child
Singer/Songwriter Holly Williams, daughter of Hank Williams Jr and granddaughter of the legendary Hank Williams Sr, is expecting her first child with husband Chris Coleman.
Williams announced the news on Mother’s Day, Sunday May 11, on Facebook by posting a photo of her noticeably pregnant silhouette (shown above). She captioned it with “Chris caught this of me this morning. Think I felt my first kick & I’m not talking about the BB gun!”
The pregnancy took the couple, who wed in 2009 by a bit of surprise, but they couldn’t be happier.
“I’ve had so many friends who’ve struggled with infertility issues, so I thought ‘Well, this could take five years.’ And it didn’t at all!” Williams tells PEOPLE. “We felt really blessed. It was like the Lord gave us this little miracle.”
Their new addition is scheduled to arrive October 9. While Holly and Chris know the gender of their little one, they plan to keep it a secret until he or she arrives in the fall.
