A Capella group Home Free is well known for putting their twist on many of today’s hit country songs, but it was after two special awards show performances that the group found inspiration for their next cover. The group, comprised of Austin Brown, Rob Lundquist, Adam Rupp, Tim Foust and Adam Chance, came up with a remix, combining Dierks Bentley’s No.1 smash “Woman, Amen” and Keith Urban’s liberating “Female.”

“We were inspired to do a mash-up after we saw Dierks perform ‘Woman, Amen’ at the ACM Awards,” explained bass singer Tim Foust to Sounds Like Nashville. “’Female’ was so striking to us when Keith debuted it at the CMAs, and we couldn’t resist blending these two songs that celebrate not only the incredible women in our life, but around the world.”

In a new music video, premiering exclusively on Sounds Like Nashville, Rupp kicks off the medley with a slick drum beat. The group then comes together for the anthemic “ohs” at the start of Bentley’s impactful track. They continue to sing the verses of the song, with Brown mixing in the chorus of Urban’s “Female.”

Fans can catch Home Free out on the road for the remainder of the year. In addition to wrapping their stateside dates on the Timeless World Tour, the quintet will head abroad for a slew of dates, before returning to the U.S. for their third annual Country Christmas Tour.
