Nineties country disciples the Hot Country Knights are taking their mullets on the road this spring, announcing the details of their headlining 2020 One Knight Stand Tour.

Kicking off April 7 in San Diego, the “Pick Her Up” (featuring Travis Tritt) singers will hit 12 cities from coast to coast — including highlight stops in Los Angeles, Washington D.C., Nashville and Talladega, Alabama, at NASCAR’s famous Talladega Superspeedway. Riding alongside the Knights will be Hannah Dasher, Tenille Townes, Rachel Wammack and Lainey Wilson on select dates.

“The Knights started as a live band playing at a little place called Teasers on ‘Two for Tuesdays,’ and they just couldn’t get enough of us down there in Murfreesboro,” says front man Doug Douglason. “We’ve got a little money now, so [steel guitar player] Barry [Van Ricky] did some work on the van. We got a few little outstanding legal issues handled so we are free and clear to cross state lines again. Yeah baby, the Knights are riding again!”

Meanwhile, the acid-washed road warriors have also pulled back the motel curtains on their drive to get back on tour in the new “Asphalt” video. Showing off the band’s emotional versatility, the “touching” ballad comes to life through a series of wild nights — all captured documentary style. The video follows an appearance on The Bobby Bones Show earlier this week, which found the Knights perfecting their “Greatest Hits” cover set live on national radio.
