#IGotTheBoyStories Premiere: Jana Kramer Surprises Kenzie
Jana Kramer’s latest hit single, “I Got The Boy,” is currently climbing the charts at country radio. The song is the lead single from Kramer’s just-announced sophomore album, thirty one, which hits stores October 9.
To celebrate the song and the touching story behind it, Kramer has been surprising fans who share #IGotTheBoyStories online by inviting them to what they believe is a video chat with the team from her record label. Instead, Kramer hops on and surprises fans to hear their “I Got The Boy” story.
Today, we’re premiering the latest in the #IGotTheBoyStories series where the mom-to-be surprises a fan named Kenzie.
“It’s so cool to see all of you guys relating to my new single ‘I Got The Boy,’ the singer shares before talking with Kenzie. She then sits down in front of her computer screen where Kenzie is noticeably surprised to see her.
Kenzie then shares her story, revealing that “I Got The Boy” helped her get over a breakup that happened some time ago.
“When I heard your song it was almost closure,” she told Jana. “It really was. I never thought about it in the way of ‘I’ll always have that piece.'”
She continued, “That right there is the closure that I need to say ‘she got the man, but I got the boy.'”
