Get to know new Country duo High Valley as they visit their favorite Nashville BBQ restaurant, Martin's Bar-B-Que Joint!

Growing up in a small town in rural Canada, High Valley was miles away from getting amazing Barbecue or Mexican food at a local restaurant. Thankfully for brothers Brad and Curtis Rempel, they now live in Nashville and are in close proximity to their favorite BBQ… Martin’s Bar-B-Que Joint.

“I rate BBQ on four things… brisket, barbecue sauce, their baked beans and their sweet tea. Martin’s is the only place ever that I’ve loved all four of those,” said Brad during a tour of the restaurant’s new downtown Nashville location.

Getting a taste of the local cuisine has always been important to the duo, who spent much of 2016 out on the road playing shows. When they found out early on in their careers that you could get both authentic BBQ and Mexican in Texas, the state became a staple during their touring.

“When we discovered Texas and that we could be on a radio tour in Texas and eat Mexican for lunch and brisket for dinner, it was heaven,” added Brad.
