Introducing… Logan Brill: Part 4

We’re nearing the end of our month-long series on newcomer Logan Brill and this week, we’re exploring songwriting.

Brill has spent many years crafting her songwriting skills and finds comfort in a well-crafted ballad.

“When I listen to music, I will listen to ballads all day long. I love the ones that have the most heartbreaking message but with the most beautiful melody. I think that that’s such an incredible combination,” she tells Sounds Like Nashville. “I really like lyrics that I can feel an experience that goes along with them and really tells a story, even in one lyric.”

For the Tennessee native, the most rewarding part of being a songwriter and an artist is having her fans connect to the personal stories laced throughout her music.

“The first time you see someone singing back your lyrics, it’s a really big payoff as an artist to see that your songs are influencing other people and people want to listen to them.”

Brill will be taking her songs out on the road this summer for numerous festival dates. Watch above as she talks about her upcoming plans and what playing a hometown show means to her.
