Introducing… RaeLynn: Part 3
This week, RaeLynn opens up about her debut album and explains why she's referring to it as a "journey record."
In just a few short weeks, RaeLynn will release her first full-length album, WildHorse. The project has been an adventure for the young singer songwriter and it has captured many of the experiences she’s gone through over the past several years.
“It’s a journey record. Like, every song takes you through a different part of my life and I’m just so excited because I know that the fans are going to be able to relate to it,” RaeLynn told us from the comfort of her manager’s home in Nashville. “This album is like my college experience. You know, the girl that you are at 18 and the girl you are at 22 is so different. Every song is from a different place. It’s so cool because I can tell you every song, when I wrote that.”
The project encompasses much of her 2016, which includes a new record deal, the completion of her record and her new marriage.
“This last year has been nothing but joy to me. I got married in February, I got signed to an awesome label deal, I finished my record. Now I’m about to put it out,” she continued. “This year has been monumental for me and such a breath of fresh air and I’m just so thankful for it. I’ll never forget 2016.”
