Jacob Lyda To Make Grand Ole Opry Debut August 6

Davis Music Group artist Jacob Lyda just received confirmation on a major career milestone – a milestone for every country music artist: Lyda is booked to perform for the first time on the Grand Ole Opry on Saturday, August 6.

Lyda’s debut on the hallowed stage of the Grand Ole Opry House is a much anticipated honor for the Alabama-born singer-songwriter: “This is my biggest accomplishment as a country music singer. If I go on to sell millions of records one day, that will still fall short of this experience – that’s how strongly I feel about it,” said Lyda. “That’s the reason I’m still here – I knew that one day I would walk out on that stage, stand in that circle, and sing my song.”

Jacob Lyda’s debut single, “I’m Doing Alright,“ is now charting at country radio. The video for “I’m Doing Alright” can be viewed on CMT, GAC, and all other online locations.

This weekend, Lyda will participate in the Fourth of July weekend celebration at the Fort Campbell, KY military base. Open to the public, Lyda’s performance with Laura Bell Bundy at the free July 4th concert is part of the “Welcome Home” festivities – including another free concert on July 2, a Fifty-Gun Salute, a carnival and fireworks – taking place at the Army installation during the holiday weekend.
