Jamey Johnson’s critically acclaimed album, That Lonesome Song, has been certified gold by the RIAA for selling over 500,000 copies. The album has been in the top ten on Billboard’s “Top Country Albums” chart for 20 weeks now. Johnson says “A gold record is one of the only awards that truly comes from your fans. They just made our album relevant to country music.”

Another album that went gold this week is one of our favorites – Zac Brown Band’s The Foundation. ZBB will celebrate their new certification by singing their current single, “Whatever It Is,” on the Tonight Show With Jay Leno next Wednesday, April 29.

Congrats to Jamey, the Zac Brown Band and their entire teams for this huge accomplishment!
