The 23rd season of Dancing with the Stars kicked off Monday night (Sept. 12). Making her dancing debut was “Circles” singer Jana Kramer, who showed off her sexy side with a Viennese waltz to Ariana Grande‘s “Dangerous Woman.”
“I think this show will help me let my guard down,” Kramer said in a pre-dance clip. “My personal life kind of took a hit. I have recently separated from my husband. I really think this process is going to be a huge healing experience for me.”
Kramer certainly let her guard down with her and her partner Gleb Savchenko’s sultry dance. The performance earned the pair 27 points out of a possible 40.
“Can you do it all over again,” asked judge Bruno Tonioli. “That was the raunchiest, sexiest, hottest Viennese waltz I’ve ever seen. I cannot wait to see your r-r-r-rumba! I mean, it’s going to be explosive!”
The first episode of season 23 of the hit ABC show also included performances from singer Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, Brady Bunch star Maureen McCormick, former Texas governor Rick Perry, former NFL player Calvin Johnson.
Kramer isn’t the first country artist to take a spin across the dance floor. She follows Sara Evans, Billy Ray Cyrus, Wynonna Judd, Chuck Wicks and season 16 winner Kellie Pickler.
