2018 is shaping up to be a big year for the Aldean family! With son Memphis still in diapers, the couple announced earlier this week that they’re expecting once again. It turns out Jason Aldean and his wife Brittany have also been making plans to build their dream home for some time, and on Wednesday, July 11, they finally broke ground on the project.
“And so our new journey begins… we’ve decided to build our dream home in Tennessee☁️ Looking at the land it’s hard not to envision a place where our babies will run, laugh and play with each other for so many years to come… I can hardly wait to hear those little feet running down the halls,” wrote Brittany in an Instagram post of their new property.
Since becoming pregnant with Memphis, Brittany has always been outspoken about her desire to have children close in age, revealing that she hoped to get pregnant again sooner rather than later.
“The sooner the better,” Brittany said during a chat with PEOPLE. “You’re already doing the diaper thing, you’re already doing everything. Why don’t we just knock it out instead of getting out of that time frame, and then having to start all over again?”
While the two did not reveal their due date, they did share a photo of Memphis donning a “big brother” onesies to announce the news.
They’ll continue to revel in their life changes as Jason continues on his “High Noon Neon Tour,” which runs through September.
