Jason Aldean and Brittany Kerr Welcome Baby Boy

Baby boy Aldean is finally here as Jason Aldean and his wife, Brittany, just announced the birth of their son, Memphis.

Little Memphis was brought into the world on December 1 at 1:29 p.m. Both mom and baby are happy and healthy, with Aldean looking on as the proud father.

“So blessed today to see my little man come into the world. In a year that has been a rollercoaster ride, this is what its all about. I cant wait to see what life has in store for this kid. Memphis Aldean… 9lb 5 oz,” wrote Aldean in a post to Instagram.

Added Brittany, “There are truly no words for the love we feel Thanks for the amazing support @jasonaldean and enduring all the hand squeezing and nail digging … HANDS DOWN THE HAPPIEST DAY OF MY LIFE!!!”

The couple let fans know they were expecting back on May 8, with a cute family photo of the pair sporting their matching ‘baby mama’ and ‘baby daddy’ shirts.

“SURPRISE!!! WE ARE PREGNANT!!! This was the hardest secret we’ve ever had to keep This journey for us has been full of many happy times & also many tears… The biggest rollercoaster we have ever been on, without a doubt! All of the moments of heartache were followed by the biggest blessing in the entire world!! We will never take one moment for granted & can’t wait to meet you, sweet baby!!!,” Kerr wrote on her Instagram post.

Along the way, the two updated fans from post ultrasound photos of their little guy to announcing his name to the world months in advance of his due date. They even shared sneak peeks of Memphis’ nursery to inspire fellow future parents on ideas of a rustic-inspired décor for their child.

Aldean and Kerr tied the knot back in 2014, and Memphis is their first child together. The country singer adds two precious daughter, Kendyl and Keeley, to their growing family from a previous marriage.
