Nearly 12 years after the release of his debut single, Jason Aldean is sharing the stories and musings behind his stratospheric career. Teaming up with Tom Carter, the country superstar has chronicled his wildly successful career in music with the book, Family Friends and Fans, sharing a collection of stories about the people closest to him.

The book allows the Georgia native to pay homage to those who were by his side for every step of his musical journey, from his parents to the producer that discovered him, from his band to his booking agent and even his friends and wife Brittany.

Family, Friends and Fans begins with recollections of Aldean’s upbringing, and makes its way through his early days as an artist playing in bars and riding around in beat up vans with his dad. Readers will get insight into how producer Michael Knox encouraged Aldean to move to Nashville and how he helped shape his anthemic sound into what it is today.

In addition to releasing his new book, Aldean is currently out on the road for his 2017 They Don’t Know Tour. Additionally, the singer is currently featured in the Country Music Hall of Fame with the exhibit Jason Aldean: Asphalt Cowboy, that highlights many of the personal belongings that shaped his career.
