Jason Aldean fans, you’re in luck! The country singer went on the record early Friday morning (1/26) to announce his big year in 2018 filled with a brand new single and album headed their way.

After taking some well-deserved time off following the birth of his new baby boy, Memphis, Aldean wanted to step back into the game right off the bat with a new single called “You Make It Easy.” Pushing the track as the first song to hit radio since his last release, the Georgia native will also take to the trend of releasing an album dubbed Rearview Town not long from now with a date set to come out in the spring.

The country singer became inspired by his simple upbringing in Georgia, remembering how the good ol’ days taught him about how life should be. Aldean also looked upon the artists he jammed out to as a young man, hoping to replicate the same nostalgic emotions he felt when he was growing up as a kid.

“Growing up in Macon, Georgia, I had a chance to learn about so many different styles of music,” Aldean said about the release. “Looking back on first playing in bands as a teenager, I was just soaking everything up. A lot of that comes out on this record…where I’ve been, and who I am now.”

To celebrate the big announcement for Aldean’s career, he will take on performances on both The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday, January 29, and TODAY on Tuesday, January 30.

Fans will even get to hear all of the new music Aldean plans to put out on his High Noon Neon Tour, which will kick off in May and run through the end of September. Luke Combs and Lauren Alaina will act as opening support for Aldean, making it sound like a rowdy good summer for the country superstar.

Rearview Town will be released on Friday, April 13.
