Jason Aldean Raises Over $700k for Hometown Children’s Hospital

Jason Aldean was the host of a massive homecoming show when he returned to Macon, GA on Friday, Aug. 11 for his sold-out Concert For The Kids, with special guest Luke Combs.

The reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year returned to his old stomping grounds to raise money for Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital, Navicent Health. This year, the “They Don’t Know” singer proudly raised $702,209.43 for the organization that enhances the pediatric patients lives through care, research and education.

“Macon will always be my roots,” said Aldean in a press release. “When I moved away to chase music, all I wanted to do was make my family and hometown proud. But, I’m just a singer. I’m honored to be able to do do what I do to help raise money, but the doctors and staff are the heroes and are changing these kids lives.”

“We are so very appreciative of Jason’s continued support for our patients at Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital, Navicent Health, ” added Ninfa M. Saunders, DHA FACHE, President and CEO of Navicent Health. “Jason is a hometown hero who is truly giving back to our young patients and their families. We are most appreciative of his commitment to their healing and care.”

In addition to headlining the show, Aldean spent much of the day with patients and their families at the current facility and reviewed plans a the new addition to Navident Health. The Georgia native was also honored with the reveal of “Jason Aldean Way,” a portion on the street that runs alongside the Children’s Hospital.

After Aldean raised half a million dollars last year with a stripped-down performance, the superstar has now raised more than $1.2 million for the benefit of Macon’s new Children’s Hospital.
