Jason Aldean Says New Single, ‘When She Says Baby,’ Just ‘Grew On Me’
Jason Aldean is back at country radio after riding his “Night Train” to the No.1 spot back in September.
The superstar has released “When She Says Baby” as the fifth single from his platinum-selling album, Night Train. “It’s just one of those songs that on the [album] that kinda grew on me,” Aldean tells Radio.com. “You have certain songs that grow on you and certain songs that you kinda fall off of after a while. And this was one that, after listening to it for a year, I’m still into it. And that’s usually the sign of a good song.”
It seems that fans agree. Earlier this year, Aldean and his team asked fans to vote on which songs they’d like to see as singles and “When She Says Baby” was one of the leaders, as was “Night Train.”
“So if that’s any indication…‘Night Train’ did well for us, so hopefully it’ll roll over into this one,” he says.
