Jason Aldean may be a Nashville resident, but his heart still lies in his hometown of Macon, GA. For the third year, the singer will host his Concert For the Kids charity event at the Macon Coliseum on Thursday, Sept. 6.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital, Navicent Health, which is the area’s only dedicated pediatric facility.

“There are a lot of reasons I love doing what I do, but being able to give back to these kids and their families is definitely really important to me,” said Aldean in a press release. “We’ve been able to help support the build of an entirely new facility, so I’m looking forward to seeing how the community shows up for the hospital this year and what we can do to keep helping the people there.”

“We are so grateful to Jason and his entire team. This will be the third year he has done a concert benefiting the sick and injured kids cared for at the Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital. We just can’t thank him enough,” added Ellen Terrell, Chief Development Officer at Navicent Health.

Since its inception, Aldean’s Concert For the Kids has raised more than $1.2 million.

Joining Aldean as direct support for the show will be Lauren Alaina, who is currently opening for the superstar’s High Noon Neon Tour.

Tickets for the show will go on sale beginning Friday, July 27 at 10 a.m. local time. Visit jasonaldean.com for more information.
