“It’s a good day! It’s a fun day! It’s a big day,” Nettles sang while dancing around with his Mamma Mia! script in hand.

Nettles isn’t the only star on the cast for the musical, as she’ll be joined by High School Musical’s Corbin Bleu, Jane the Virgin’s Jaime Camil, Hairspray Live!’s Dove Cameron and many more bright talents.

Although most fans know Nettles for her vocals in the country duo Sugarland, she’s tried her hand at live theater before when she played the role of Roxie Hart on the Broadway version of Chicago. She’s always expressed her desire to return to the stage, and now she’ll finally get her chance to shine yet again in a different yet beautiful setting.

Mamma Mia! will play at the Hollywood Bowl from July 28-30. Tickets can be purchased for the shows on the Hollywood Bowl’s website.
