Jennifer Nettles to Headline CMT’s 2016 Next Women of Country Tour
Jennifer Nettles will be hitting the road with CMT for the exciting 2016 Women of Country Tour.
The tour, entitled “CMT Presents Jennifer Nettles with 2016 Next Women of Country Tour,” will include Nettles as the headliner, as well as Brandy Clark and special guests Lindsay Ell and Tara Thompson.
“I always take any opportunity to champion women in music and throughout society at large,” said Nettles. “I am absolutely energized to headline this year’s ‘CMT Next Women of Country’ tour and celebrate these exciting artists on the precipice of so much greatness.”

Brandy Clark will release her sophomore album on Warner Brothers Records, Lindsay Ell just premiered her new video on CMT for ‘By The Way,’ and newly signed Tara Thompson has already generated huge buzz for her talents to round out a stellar lineup for our 2016 Tour.”
The tour will run for over 30 dates across the US and Canada starting in January 2016.
The tour is part of CMT’s Next Women of Country campaign, that highlights and gives added airplay to female country artists.
