It might still be a long way off, but country singer Jessie James Decker is set to make the next New Year’s Eve unforgettable for one lucky lottery player. Just after 2020 arrives, she’ll reveal the First Powerball Millionaire of the Year on the live ABC broadcast of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest.
The special drawing will invite over 300 hopeful winners to New York City’s Times Square for a glamorous New Year’s Eve vacation, and then one extra-lucky participant will get $1 million. Talk about getting the year started off right!

Those hoping to win must purchase their tickets from 25 participating jurisdictions, then enter their Powerball tickets into the First Powerball Millionaire of the Year second-chance drawing. If chosen, they’ll then be whisked off for a VIP trip including New York City theater performances, a holiday cruise on the Hudson River with dinner and entertainment, an exclusive New Year’s Eve gala at the Crowne Plaza Hotel (featuring a performance by Decker) and prime viewing of the Times Square ball drop — plus the chance to win a million bucks.
