‘If I Were You,’ I Would Watch Jillian Jacqueline’s New Music Video

Relationships are never easy. Sometimes it’s bad timing, other times you’ll find out that you just haven’t found the right person. Or, maybe you discover that you need more time to recover or grow as a person before you’re ready to be committed to someone else.

This is exactly what Jillian Jacqueline’s new song “If I Were You,” featuring Keith Urban, is all about. The artist explores the heartache and mental exhaustion of letting someone go that you are not ready for. The honest heartbreak tune shows off the impressive vocals that have already garnered Jacqueline public praise and a loyal fan following.

“If I Were You” is one of the six new songs released on Jacqueline’s newest EP Side B, the complement to her first, Side A, released back in 2017. She took to Twitter this week to thank her fans for their support and gave a little insight on the inspirations that made her work come to life.

“The first phase contained a lot of regret, brokenness, pride, and the desire to forego fear. The next phase is all about allowing yourself to be happy, and forgiveness,” she said.

Along with Side B, the rising star has also released a striking music video for “If I Were You. The clip puts Jacqueline in a chic vintage living room. While it’s hard to take your eyes off the singer as she rolls around the retro set battling her internal demons, you can’t help but notice the space is serious decor goals.
