Meeting your idol can be an intimidating moment for anyone, so it’s no surprise that Little Big Town’s Jimi Westbrook had a difficult time coming up with something to say when he and his bandmates had a chance to meet iconic country singer Willie Nelson.

The quartet played the Big Valley Jamboree in Alberta, Canada, where the legendary performer was slated to headline. Before performing, Little Big Town had the opportunity to meet Nelson and take an adorable group photo. “We. Just. Met. Willie.” they wrote on Instagram, each member looking equally excited to stand in the presence of the “On The Road Again” singer.

During their meet & greet however, Westbrook found himself a little tongue-tied and introduced himself as another member of the GRAMMY-winning group.

“Ok…. I just met Willie Nelson… Kimberly introduced herself right before me. Then I shook his hand and said Hi… I’m Kimberly…” he wrote of his encounter.

The flub was clearly embarrassing for the singer, but will make for a great memory. After posting his story to Twitter, a fan asked if he was just a little star struck, to which Westbrook replied “Yeah… a little.”

Jimi Westbrook and the rest of LBT later gathered their composure and put on a memorable show, judging from the photos they later shared on Instagram. The band will continue to tour the country with a slew of festival dates, as well as a number of shows in Europe, on the books throughout the rest of the year.
