Country singer and current Dancing With the Stars contestant Jimmie Allen has welcomed the birth of his second child with wife, Alexis. The couple shared news of a new baby girl’s arrival this weekend, introducing the world to Zara James Allen.

Born on Saturday (10/16) in Nashville, Zara James weighed 7 pounds 10 ounces, and Allen shared a heartwarming photo from the hospital.

“Zara James Allen 💖The new addition to our family is here and we couldn’t be happier to finally meet her,” Allen wrote. “Alexis you’re a champion, I love you and so thankful for you.”

The baby girl is the couple’s second second child together, and third in the family overall. Allen and Alexis also share a 19-month-old daughter named Naomi Bettie, and Allen also has a 7-year-old son named Aadyn from a previous relationship. The couple first announced the pregnancy back in June, and later revealed a “secret” marriage in 2020, which was in addition to the public ceremony held in May of this year.

The happy news comes at a busy time for Jimmie Allen, who is currently balancing his day job as a hit making country star with a moonlighting gig on ABC’s Dancing With the Stars. Paired with professional dancer, Emma, Allen delivered a double shot of Disney-themed routines last week — which the new dad was perfectly suited for. In the past he’s revealed his deep love of Disney characters, saying a big plus of having another daughter was all the extra Disney princesses.
