Jimmie Allen and Fiancee Alexis Gale Are Expecting a Baby Girl

It’s a girl! Jimmie Allen and his fiancee Alexis Gale are pregnant!
The couple shared their exciting news with a gender reveal video posted to Allen’s Instagram. In the clip, the two are surrounded by family and friends as the prepare to pop a giant black balloon. Then Allen pops the balloon to expose pink dust that covers Gale in her all-white ensemble.
Gale also shared photos from Sunday night’s (11/10) SESAC Awards. In the photos captioned “mom & dad,” the engaged couple showcase her growing baby bump in a purple velvet mini dress.
Allen and Gale got engaged during a family trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL. They bonded early on over their shared hometown of Milton, DE.
“With Alexis being from my hometown, it is like always having a piece of home with me. We had an immediate connection,” the singer told PEOPLE of their relationship. “It was like we’d always known each other.”

His love for her was cemented after seeing the nurse interact with his son Aadyn.
“Her smile melts me, her pure heart challenges me to love better, the way she motivates and supports me is unlike anything I’ve ever seen, the way she loves me and my son is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced,” he said of Gale. “It feels incredible to find the type of love I’ve been writing songs about all these years!”
No word on when baby girl Allen is expected to arrive.
