Baby Allen has arrived! Jimmie Allen and his fiancee Alexis Gale are the proud parents to a baby girl named Naomi.

News of the baby’s arrival came during a phone call between Allen and radio hosts Chuck Wicks and Trisha “T.J.” Jenkins on Monday morning (3/2).

“I thought getting a No. 1 [single] was going to be the best part of my day, but then my daughter, Naomi, was born yesterday,” Allen said of his daughter’s birth and scoring a No.1 single with “Make Me Want To.”

“The baby’s middle name is Betty, we named her after my grandma [who passed away in 2014], so her initials are NBA, go figure,” the proud dad shared. “And my grandma’s birthday was actually March 13, my mom’s birthday is March 7 and Naomi’s birthday is March 1. And [fiancée] Lexi is laying right here looking awesome.”

The couple first announced they were expecting in November 2019 with a gender reveal video posted to Instagram. In the short clip, the couple pop a balloon filled with pink colored dust and excitedly learn that a baby girl is on the way.

Allen and Gale got engaged during a family trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL. Their relationship blossomed over they shared love of their hometown and Gale’s bond with Allen’s five-year-old son Aadyn.

“Her smile melts me, her pure heart challenges me to love better, the way she motivates and supports me is unlike anything I’ve ever seen, the way she loves me and my son is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced,” Allen has previously said of his bride-to-be. “It feels incredible to find the type of love I’ve been writing songs about all these years!”

Allen’s new song, “This Is Us,” featuring Noah Cyrus, is out now.
